Sailing and Surfing

Sport fishermen receive a licence to fish on Lake Neusiedl during office hours at the Magistrat (municipality), Conradplatz 1 (Mon. – Thu. 7 a.m. – 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. as well as Fri. 7 a.m. – 12.30 p.m.):

The validity period of authorisation and the quantity of fishing gear used are to be complied with at all times.
It is prohibited to:

- fish with floating lines and forks
- feed the fish under the ice
- fish from a boat during the night
- stop and fish in the reed area.
